To celebrate a couple new numbers, we took a quick trip into the jungle for some organic inspiration. On Friday, we reached 100 phrases ranked in the top 10 results on Google. This weekend, we reached 10,000 downloads of our Any Url widget on Netvibes. These 2 clean numbers seemed like good reasons to venture up in to Chagres National Park and pay a visit to my friend Adam Caisamo. He is a member of the Embera tribe and lives in absolute splendor in a place called Embera Drua. One of the highlights of the visit was on account of a helicopter that flew in. I could barely believe that these guys were crazy enough to be flying up a river bed, but was sure glad to see it. When it came time for them to fly out, they couldn't start the chopper. The battery was dead and they waited around for a buddy to fly in an extra. Above are a couple clips of the event.
